Tooth & Jaw (2011)

"Tooth and Jaw" (series) — This series began with intense anatomical study and life drawing, and developed after an excruciating episode of pain caused by the emergence of my Wisdom Teeth. I began by first constructing a miniature skeletal model out of clay and then began creating a series of tableauxs with dentistry equipment. The series of images resulted from that exploration.
